Routine or non-urgent appointments may be obtained by telephoning or calling into reception during opening hours. The appointment line is open from 8.00am to 6.30pm*, Monday to Friday, and a receptionist will be pleased to arrange a date and time for you to attend.
* Please note that the appointment line is closed between 12.00 and 2.00pm on Thursdays for staff training.
Please book one appointment for each patient who wishes to be seen.
To see a doctor of your choice please allow 3 to 4 days. Please understand we cannot always give you the doctor of your choice as he/she may not be available. Every effort is made to ensure that you are seen on time but if for some reason there is a delay, you will be informed.

Our Practice Nurse is available by appointment for injections, diagnostic tests, smears, new patient checks, routine blood tests and blood pressure checks. We also run clinics specifically for diabetes, asthma, well baby, ante-natal, Coronary Heart Disease, hypertension and advice on stopping smoking.

It is really important to let us know if you need to cancel, because it enables us to offer your appointment to someone else.

If you have an urgent dental problem such as toothache or a dental abscess you should see a dentist not your GP.
If you have a regular dentist you should telephone them and arrange an urgent appointment. If they are closed there should be an answerphone message with the phone number of the local dentist covering emergencies. If you have trouble getting through call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.
